UNCLE BILL & AUNT ERNESTINE (1990)

Here's the only time Uncle Bill and Aunt Ernestine visited Cousin Sharon's house.

PHOTOS OF OUR YOUTH (1960-61)

Notes on photos, by Marguerite Israel.

Richard Kerr,

    1. R. played the "Battle of New Orleans" by Johnny Horton until it was almost worn out.
    2. Richard & Steve messing around at edge of swimming pool.  Steve cut his leg & blood spurted.  Had to take him to Emergency.
    3. Kids washing pick-up and it started pouring rain so went swimming instead.  It was hot weather.
    4. Larry & Richard poured catsup all over nice fresh beef steaks from our beef where they couldn't taste the steak, I guess.
    5. Sharon drove pick-up in field and boys scattered the old hay for mulch.
    6. Larry helped work with the hay bales, but was allergic, so he started itching.  I think we used Noxema on it.  It helped.
    7. I think I had a bad arm at the time the boys stayed with us, so they were a big help, but kids will be kids.  Ha, ha.

CHRIS WILDER

1.  Here we have a photo of Sharon's 15 year old son, Chris.  He's rather camera shy, so I had to try to find one of his earlier photos.  I think this is him at the tender age of 8 months old, but, I'm not sure.  Anyway, I'll use this one until he gets me a better one.

2.  Here, we see Chris at a friends birthday party.  Chris has been known to be a little thrifty, when it comes to spending his allowance money.  I guess this is the way he and his friends say thanks to each other.

3.  And here we see Chris and next door neighbor, Bubbles Mendoza.  Bubbles is rather proud of her new nephew.  Bubbles has spent the last eight months away at her grandma's house, nursing her back to health, and brought back her sister's new born baby, for a visit.  Mmmmmm.
